ICT, business, and health-related subjects still popular
On the recent autumn joint application round (28 Aug–11 Sept) at Studyinfo.fi, altogether about 750 study places were on offer in 25 fully English-taught degree programmes at Finnish universities of applied sciences (UAS).
More than 13,000 international students applied for a study place in these English-taught degree programmes.
Of the available study subjects, information communication technologies (ICT), business & administration, and health-related subjects were the most popular among the international applicants.
The most represented nationalities on this joint application round were Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Ghana, and India.
