The Academic Ranking of World Universities 2023 published by Shanghai Ranking includes rankings of 1000 universities around the world. Seven Finnish universities were featured in the ranking list.
Of all the Finnish universities, University of Helsinki was the top performer from Finland with ranking of 101-150 in the Shanghai Ranking's 2023 Academic Ranking of World Universities.
Other Finnish university entries in the top 1000 range included:
- Aalto University (301-400 rank)
- University of Turku (301-400 rank)
- University of Oulu (401-500 rank)
- Tampere University (501-600 rank)
- University of Eastern Finland (501-600 rank)
- University of Jyväskylä (701-800 rank)
