Finnish Universities reaching Top 30 in THE Impact Rankings 2024

Three Finnish universities made it to top 30 in the individual categories of the recent annual Times Higher Education sustainable development goals rankings.

The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2024 have assessed universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

In addition to an overall ranking table, the THE Impact Ranking looks at each of the 17 SDGs separately.

#6 in Climate Action (SDG 13)

LUT University
#10 in Climate Action (SDG 13)

University of Helsinki
#19 in Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (SDG 16)
#26 in Climate Action (SDG 13)
#30 in Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12)

#101-200 - LUT University, University of Helsinki

#201-300 - University of Eastern Finland

#301-400 - University of Jyväskylä, University of Oulu

#401-600 - University of Turku

#801-1000 - University of Vaasa

#1001-1500 - Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences
