Finnish universities maintain their high positions in the annual QS World University Rankings, which features 1,300 universities from around the world.

Finnish universities were once again ranked highly, some of them reaching a higher position than last year - Aalto University, University of Oulu and Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology LUT.

The QS World University Rankings measure the universities' performance based on several metrics, such as academic reputation and faculty/student ratio.
