Finnish universities among the top percentiles in CWUR 2024 rankings

Since 2012, CWUR (Center for World University Rankings) has been publishing their academic ranking of global universities that assesses the quality of education, employability, quality of faculty, and research.

For the 2024 edition, almost 21,000 institutions were ranked.

Finnish universities were featured on the Global 2000 list as follows:

• University of Helsinki #126 (top 0.7%)
• Aalto University #350 (top 1.7%)
• University of Turku #382 (top 1.9%)
• Tampere University #430 (top 2.1%)
• University of Oulu #458 (top 2.2%)
• University of Eastern Finland #485 (top 2.4%)
• University of Jyväskylä #619 (top 3.0%)
• LUT University #1137 (top 5.5%)
• Åbo Akademi University #1143 (top 5.5%)
• Hanken School of Economics #1544 (top 7.4%)
