Finnish-Russian Student Exchange Programme – FIRST promotes partnership and reciprocal mobility of students and teachers between Higher Education Institutions in Finland and in North-Western Russia.

The purpose of the programme is to strengthen existing co-operation between institutions, to create new contacts and to ensure balanced mobility between Finland and Russia. In addition, the programme supports the organisation of joint intensive courses.

How to participate?

If you are studying at a higher education institution in North-Western Russia, then please visit the International Office of your home university to find out whether your home university is participating in any FIRST student exchange with Finnish universities.
